A 25-YEAR-OLD woman has been jailed for ten months for perverting the course of public justice and driving while disqualified.
Kalbir Kaur, of The Rowans, Baildon, was today convicted of both charges by a jury at Bradford Crown Court.
She lied to the police after she was caught at the wheel of a silver Mondeo in Leeds Road, Eccleshill, Bradford, on December 7 last year.
Kaur, a student, claimed she had lent the car to a friend and was staying in Leicester at the time.
She was also banned from driving for 18 months.
