FAMILIES from across Waltham Forest gathered together for a community art event.
On Saturday (October 17) Willow Brook Primary School Academy in Leyton was filled with colour for part of the worldwide family arts festival “The Big Draw”.
Director of Art at Willow Brook, Amy Hoppett, organised a free drop-in workshop for all ages and abilities with the theme “Every Drawing Tells a Story”.
Local artists led a medley of drawing based, allowing children and parents to let their creativity loose on the various themes throughout the day.
The headteacher of the school in Church Road, Graham Clifford, also joined in along with many of the teachers and were also assisted by the Friends of Willow Brook PTA.
