PRIMARY school pupils had a special visit from Bradford City striker Billy Clarke.

He visited year three pupils at Fearnville Primary School in Tyersal to speak about his life as a professional footballer.

Teacher Daniel Cassidy said: "He explained that footballers need to work together as a team, listen carefully to their manager and he also explained how footballers have to look after their bodies by eating healthy food and doing lots of training.

"He was brilliant with the children and they really enjoyed meeting him. He had a good talk with the kids and explained that although he's injured at the moment he'll be stronger when he returns.

"He even promised to score lots of goals so Bradford City shoot up the league!"

He also answered the children's questions, posed for photographs and signed autographs.
