Road partially closed after crash involving car and pedestrian on busy commuter route
Congestion around the A6120 Broadway between Bradford and Leeds is now easing busy following an accident involving a van and a woman pedestrian who has been seriously injured.
The woman, 54, suffered serious head and leg injuries. She was taken to Leeds General Infirmary. The vehicle involved was a Renault.
The crash led to queuing traffic on the A6120 Broadway, which runs from Horsforth roundabout towards Calverley roundabout.
Police had advised motorists to avoid the area.
The westbound carriageway has been re-opened.
