A NEIGHBOUR who tried to put out a grill pan fire was taken to hospital for treatment.
Fire crews from Shipley, Rawdon and Idle stations were called to the semi-detached home in West Royd Drive, Shipley, at 9.45pm on Saturday.
By the time they arrived, the blaze had been put out and everyone was safely out of the house.
One neighbour, who had attempted to put out the fire, was taken to hospital by ambulance to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The firefighters used a large fan to ventilate the property.
The fire had caused some smoke damage and heat damage to the cooker.
