THE reopening of Bradford's IMAX cinema will be marked with a festival of summer blockbusters including Jurassic World and Mad Max: Fury Road.
The cinema at the National Media Museum will reopen on Monday following a £780,000 upgrade which includes a new screen and digital projection system and improved seats with more leg room.
Monday will see the start of a Festival of Imax that will run until September 17.
The festival will feature a range of films for all ages including Ant-Man, Pixels, Inside Out and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
The upgrade was funded by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.
The previous IMAX facility was restricted in the number of blockbusters it could show which led to dwindling audience numbers.
