Man in court today charged with sexual assault
POLICE last night charged a man with sexual assault in connection with an incident on the canal towpath near to Brighouse town centre.
Darren Halford, 48, from the Brighouse area, is due to appear at Calderdale magistrates court today.
The incident is alleged to have involved a 22-year-old woman victim who was walking on the towpath at 6.40am on Tuesday.
