THE Prince of Wales will be visiting the area next week as part of a tour of the county.
Prince Charles, who is patron of The Campaign for Wool, will be at Abraham Moon & Sons Ltd, based at Netherfield Mills in Guiseley, on Thursday, September 10.
He will meet staff, customers and local industry supporters of The Campaign for Wool and tour the mill to see the processes undertaken in a fully vertical woollen mill, before attending a reception.
The Prince will also visit HMP Prison, Leeds, to meet those involved in The Prince of Wales's Mosaic 'through-the-gates' mentoring programme; meet representatives from the Ure Salmon Trust to learn about their conservation work on the River Ure, in Leyburn, North Yorkshire; and call in to The George & Dragon, Inn which was taken over by the local community, in Hudswell, Richmond.
