POLICE are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed an early morning crash that left a driver in hospital to come forward.
The single vehicle crash happened at 2.50am on Sunday, and involved a white Seat Leon. The car was travelling along Wakefield Road towards the city centre, when it collided with railings and a lamp post at the roundabout close to the junction with New Hey Road.
The 31-year-old driver from Bradford was taken to hospital with head and back injuries and remains there in a stable condition.
A police spokesman said: "Anyone who saw the collision or the vehicle's movements prior to it, is asked to contact PC 4124 Hoyle at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101."
