A DRINK driver was found hiding upstairs at his home after he hit on oncoming vehicle, Bradford and Keighley magistrates heard today.
Daniel Graham, 23, of Fell Lane, Keighley, had drunk seven pints of lager before getting behind the wheel at 4.45am on August 16.
He pleaded guilty to driving on Parkwood Street, Keighley, when he had 48 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Prosecutor Suzanne Paige said police found Graham hiding upstairs when they came looking for him after the collision.
Graham, of previous good character, said he was very sorry.
He was banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £520.
