BINGLEY band Marmozets will perform one of their most high profile concerts yet when they hit the main stage at the Leeds and Reading Festivals this weekend.

The rockers, which are signed to Roadrunner Records, will join Metallica, Royal Blood and Bring Me the Horizon on the main stage of Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday.

It follows months of high profile concerts with Muse and Kasabian, tours of Japan and Russia and the chart success of their debut album The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets.

The group, made up of two sets of siblings, formed in Bingley Grammar School when they were teenagers, and in 2008 went on to win a Battle of the Bands event in Keighley.

It will be the third time playing the festival, although this year is by far their highest placement on the card.
