GEORGE Galloway's former constituency office will become a hairdressers and tanning salon after Bradford Council approved change of use for the city centre site.
Garth Durkin submitted the planning application for the former constituency offices of the Respect Party, Westgate House on Grattan Road.
The offices have been empty since Mr Galloway's unsuccessful re-election campaign for the Bradford West seat in May, when he was beaten by Labour's Naz Shah.
The change of use application was to allow a hairdressers on the ground floor and a first floor sun lounge, a development Mr Durkin said will create two full-time and two part-time jobs.
A report by planning officers said: "The terrace appears under-used and the proposals here would bring additional occupation to the benefit of local economic activity, general amenity and the longer term maintenance of the building."
