AN award-winning comedian will be compere for an impromptu show in Bradford this evening.

The venue for the gig - Fuse Art Space in Rawson Place - was announced only this afternoon after a Twitter appeal to find an indoor location.

The Alternative Reality Tour is travelling through cities throughout the country, bringing free shows featuring comedy, music art and food, and today the group has rolled into Bradford.

What makes the tour unique is the fact that when they arrive in the city the group has no idea where they will be holding that evening's show.

Tonight Josie Long, who won the BBC New Comedy Awards at 17 and is a regular on TV panel shows, will be compere of the show, which starts at 6.30pm.

The last two nights the tour has been in Liverpool and Blackburn, and tomorrow they will be performing in Middlesbrough.
