FIREFIGHTERS today helped guide a sleep walking man down from the roof of a bungalow in Bradford.
It is thought the man, said to be aged in his early to mid-20s, had got out of a dormer window of the property in Yew Tree Avenue, Girlington, in his sleep before then becoming trapped when he woke to find himself there.
Police were called to the incident at about 6.15am, who then contacted Fairweather Green fire station for assistance.
Watch Commander Aldene Woodward said: "The station manager went to assess the situation, and called for a crew who helped the man down with a ladder.
"We don't think he woke until he was actually on the roof."
The man was said to be embarrassed but did not suffer any injuries.
