CYCLISTS from across the Bradford district are being invited to join the fun at the go:cycling Cyclefest in Centenary Square on Wednesday, August 12.

The free event is part of a programme of cycling festivals taking place throughout West Yorkshire and includes fun and interactive elements as well as valuable advice on bike maintenance.

Visitors will be able to watch three BMX stunt displays, jump on the cycle smoothie maker, try a range of adapted cycles, Bling their Bikes with a range of colourful accessories, and take part in a parade.

Go:cycling’s project manager, Carl Tinson, said: “The go:cycling festival is a great way to bring both novice and experienced cyclists together for a bit of fun, education, advice, and entertainment.

“We’ve created a truly interactive day, there’s certainly something for everyone and we’re sure it will provide the motivation and encouragement to get more people on their bikes and lead a healthier lifestyle.”

The event runs from 12.30pm until 6pm.
