A MAN was taken to hospital after a Porsche sports car crashed into a wall in Bingley.
Emergency services, including police and fire crews from Shipley and Bingley, were called to Bradford Road, outside the Yorkshire Clinic, shortlly before 1pm today, after receiving reports of a blue Porsche leaving the road.
A spokesman for the Shipley crew said the car had come round a corner "at speed", before clipping a lamppost and hitting a wall on the opposite side of the road.
Two people were in the car when it crashed, but one managed to get out before emergency services arrived. The other, a 24 year-old man, remained trapped in the vehicle until he was freed by firefighters.
He was then transferred to an ambulance and taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for treatment to head and neck injuries.
His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
