TWO men were arrested for drugs-related offences today during a large police operation at an industrial estate on the edge of Bradford city centre.
A number of police vehicles and some armed officers could be seen at City Way Industrial Estate, near Wakefield Road's junction with Square Street, from about 3pm.
Shortly after 3.15pm, onlookers reported seeing an Asian man in his late 20s or early 30s being led away in handcuffs under arrest.
A few minutes later, another man, described as black and of a similar age, was also led away in handcuffs.
Five marked police vehicles and a mixture of uniformed and plain-clothed officers could be seen at the premises.
A about 3.30pm, a marked police vehicle containing two further armed officers drew up.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said two men, aged 30 and 29, had been arrested for drugs-related offences and were taken into custody.
