POLICE were called to Bradford Interchange after concerns were raised about a teenage girl's safety.
One witness said it was thought she was threatening to harm herself on the railway station platform.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman confirmed there had been an incident at the station yesterday, and said: "We were called to Bradford Interchange at 1.32pm following reports of a vulnerable woman.
"Officers from West Yorkshire Police and BTP attended, and a 17-year-old was located away from the railway and taken to a place of safety."
It is understood the teenager was uninjured.
