A PROCESSION of Jowett cars will make its way from from the company's former site, now Morrisons supermarket at Five Lane Ends, Wrose, to Bradford Industrial Museum, for the 30th annual reunion of former employees.

Members of the Jowett car club are invited to the reunion, on Saturday, August 8.

"There are 40 former employees known to the club, which is the oldest one make car club in the world," said reunion organiser Colin Dennison.

"There will be examples of almost every model that Jowett cars made. I expect that the oldest one there was built in 1913.

Jowett cars were made in Bradford from 1904 to 1954.

The cavalcade of Jowett cars will leave Morrisons at 10.30am and arrive at the Industrial Museum at about 11.30 am. The event is open to the public but the museum car park is reserved for Jowett cars.
