THE organisers of Bingley Music Live are looking for volunteer helpers to lend a hand at the event.

They will get free entry for the whole weekend festival, a festival programme and food and drink while at work.

There are a number of volunteering roles available at the Council-run event, in Bingley’s Myrtle Park, over the weekend of September 4, 5 and 6.

People are needed to work with the gate team, be event angels, programme sellers, be part of the green team and be PR personnel.

Diana Greenwood, from Bradford Council, said: "Volunteering at Bingley Music Live is a fun and rewarding experience, a great way to meet new people and to see what it takes to make a music festival happen."

All volunteers must be 16 or over on September 3 and will need to be available for the full three days.

Hours worked are dependant on the role but there are no early starts or late shifts and all volunteers are given regular breaks so they can enjoy the festival.
