THESE four kittens are looking for a new home after being dumped in a bag at a Bradford pet store.

Staff at the Forster Square branch of Pets at Home discovered the holdall near the tills and were surprised when they discovered the ten to 12-week old kittens inside yesterday morning.

Katie Lloyd of Eccleshill animal charity Bradford Cat Watch Rescue said she took a call from the store and agreed to take the animals on.

She told the Telegraph & Argus: "We are so full as we have got more than 100 cats and kittens in the rescue at the moment. But I agreed to help so they came to us at tea time yesterday.

"They are about ten to 12 weeks old and have no health concerns. They are doing brilliantly but just need a new home."

She added that the store checked back through its CCTV footage and spotted a man dropping the bag in the store.

Anyone interesting in adopting the abandoned kittens should contact the charity, which is run entirely by volunteers and relies on donation to survive, by calling Miss Lloyd directly on 07942 822509.
