YOUNG masters who attend Idle Art Studio are displaying their work at Kala Sangam Arts Centre this week.

The exhibition is open daily to the public at St Peter's House, close to Bradford Cathedral.

Work on show covers drawings, paintings, mixed media, sculpture and print and design, said Young Masters founder Virginija Knowles.

The visual arts course is run weekly for youngsters aged between five and 11-years-old and classes are run at Thackley Methodist Church, Kala Sangam Arts Centre, Guiseley Methodist Church and Saltaire Methodist Church.

Mrs Knowles said: "The quality of work is amazing.

"Everyone who has seen it has given such positive comments. The venue at Kala Sangam is also gorgeous. More than 500 pieces of work are on display - people should definitely brighten up their day by coming to see it for themselves."

The exhibition closes on Saturday with a free family event from 10am to 1pm with face painting, collaborative painting and café refreshments.

Parts of the exhibition will remain at Kala Sangam while other pieces of work will tour different locations in Bradford and in Leeds.
