A MAN found collapsed in Bradford city centre has died.
Police started an investigation and arrested a 62-year-old woman after the man, 84, was found in Ivegate, outside the Poundworld store at 3pm yesterday.
The pensioner, who has not yet been named by police, died at Bradford Royal Infirmary last night.
A post-mortem examination revealed he had died of natural causes and his death is no longer being treated as suspicious, said a West Yorkshire Police spokesman.
The 62-year-old woman today remained in custody in relation to other matters, he added.
Police sealed off Ivegate for several hours yesterday as officers conducted inquiries.
Officers were initially called to reports that the man had collapsed of suspected heart attack and an officer carried out CPR at the scene before paramedics ferried him to BRI.
