FOUR men are still in hospital after a serious crash on Saturday.

The incident happened in Wakefield Road, Brighouse, at about 9pm when a Volkswagen Golf and Audi A4 are believed to have collided.

Eight men were travelling in the vehicles involved.

Among the four who were hurt is a 37-year-old man, believed to be the driver of the Golf, who is receiving treatment for serious injuries at Leeds General Infirmary which are now believed to be non-life-threatening.

PC Sean Hepworth of the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Team (Western) said: "I am appealing for witnesses who may have seen either vehicle travelling along Huddersfield Road, or Wakefield Road, immediately before the collision as they may hold vital information. Enquiries are ongoing."
