A ROAD on the edge of Keighley town centre remained closed to traffic shortly before 10am today after a skip wagon turned over.
The accident happened some time before 9am at the bottom of Park Lane, under the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway bridge.
Police and recovery personnel are currently at the scene and pedestrians are being allowed to pass the site of the crash. Another vehicle is also thought to be involved in the incident, but this has now been removed.
The wagon was heading down hill towards Coney Lane at the time of the accident.
Nobody was injured in the crash.
It has struck the wall under the railway bridge, and the impact of the collision has dislodged several large stones from the wall.
No damage is visible to the bridge overhead.
Trandev Keighley has said its 705 and 720 bus services are being diverted via Parkwood Street and Dalton Lane, and has warned passengers to expect some disruption.
