Two people from Lewisham have been charged with perverting the course of justice following the murder of a poker play in Islington.
The charge follows the murder of Mehmet Hassan in Islington last March.
Ekaete Invang, aged 26, of Malham Road, Forest Hill, and 26-year-old Justin Sawyer, of Harcourt Road, Brockley, were charged yesterday (June 3) with perverting the course of justice.
Both have been bailed to appear at Hammersmith Magistrates' Court on July 1.
Officers from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
