Around 60 firefighters tackled a blaze which left a factory ruined.
Eight pumps, five jets and four specialist appliances, including an aerial machine, had to be manned to stop the blaze at a bedding manufacturers in Rouse Mill Lane, Batley, during the early hours today.
Fire crews were alerted after a call from a mobile phone by a member of the public at 11.02pm.
Firefighters from Batley, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, Odsal, Stanningly, Morley, and Brighouse attended the scene.
Hydraulic equipment had to be used to break through roller fitted doors at the factory which is one in a small complex of industrial units.
A spokesman for Batley fire service said: "The property has been destroyed and the cause of the fire has yet to be established."
