Firefighters tackle barn fire after suspected arson attack
FIREFIGHTERS from Keighley and Silsden have tackled a barn fire at Laycock, believed to have been started deliberately.
It happened just before 7pm last night at a barn near Wells Farm in Tarn Lane.
A table on fire inside the building had caught structural timbers and was about to break through when the crews arrived.
Keighley watch commander Andy Quinn said: "It was just as well we got there when we did. Another 15 minutes and the whole barn would have gone up."
Police have been informed.
