GROUPS that help provide play opportunities for children will meet in Keighley this month.

The networking event on March 19 will involve members of the five play forums operating across Bradford district.

Keighley’s own forum regularly brings together a wide range of organisations, including council departments and voluntary groups, who work with youngsters.

By working together they aim to reduce duplication play activities in the Keighley area, while increasing the amount of activities by pooling staff and funding.

An update on the play forum was given to Keighley Area Committee last month for a report on the district’s play strategy.
