A BLOCK of student flats in Bradford city centre will be partially converted into a hotel by its owners after Bradford Council granted permission for the scheme.
Trivelles Hotels and Resorts revealed it had struggled to fill Sunbridge Halls, a six-storey, 113-room student flats building in Sunbridge Road, since it opened last January.
Earlier this year the company applied for planning permission to turn three floors into a budget hotel. The application has now been approved, and 57 of the flats will remain for student use, with 56 becoming guest rooms.
