A BEER festival is being held at Jacob’s pub in Bradford to mark English Tourist Week.
All the beers in the event, from March 14 to 21, are new releases from 20 West Yorkshire breweries all within 30 mile radius of Bradford.
There will be a charity raffle on both Saturdays and a Yorkshire produce stall on March 21 in aid of the Parkinsons Society and there will be musical entertainment on March 19, with Muppet and the Bard of Saltaire Eddie Lawler as well as free food from 8pm to 9pm.
Bradford university student Daniel Georgiev will also be staging a photographic exhibition about Jacob’s customers’ trip last year to Oates Brewery in Halifax.
Licensee Christina Wagstaff will also be accepting a Winter Pub of the Year 2015 award at 2pm on March 21 from the Society for the Preservation of Beers from the Wood.
