THE WORTH Valley Storytelling Guild will next month host the last in a traditional line of Jewish storytellers.
Shonaleigh Cumbers will be the guest at the guild’s Open Storytelling Circle on Monday, March 16, in the back room of the Old Hall Inn at Haworth.
Shonaleigh is a drut’syla, a storyteller who traditionally learned her craft from her grandmother.
The drut’syla tradition consists of 12 interwoven cycles, each containing several hundred tales.
Admission to the 8pm storytelling circle is free, with a collection for expenses.
