THE Early Communication Partnership at Bradford Council’s Early Childhood and Library Services and the National Literacy Trust are hosting a conference for people who work with children up to the age of three.
Dr Suzanne Zeedyk, one of the speakers, is an Honorary Fellow in developmental psychology at Dundee University. She said: “Whenever I visit Bradford I am struck by the dedication of so many practitioners keen to develop and share their knowledge of early child development.
“Practitioners play such a key role in helping parents and carers of young children to understand just how important they are in shaping a child’s brain development and emotional capacities.”
The conference takes place on Friday, March 6, at the Midland Hotel in Cheapside and on Saturday, March 7, at Bradford City Hall from 8.30am to 3.45pm.
