A FORMER Bradford City player has appeared in court, charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
John Owen Morrison, 33, whose address was given as Norburgh Park, Londonderry, Northern Ireland, faces five charges including possession of the class A drug, cocaine and possession of a class A drug, also cocaine.
He faces three further charges of using a Volkswagen Golf car without insurance or a driving licence and handling stolen property, namely a VW Golf car, which was obtained in the Republic of Ireland.
The offences were allegedly committed on February 20 this year, Derry Magistrates' Court heard.
He will next appear in court again on March 23.
Known as Owen Morrison during his career, the winger made 36 appearances for Bradford City between 2004 and 2006.
