A THIRD man has been arrested following a fatal road crash in Bradford.

Michael McDermott, 70, died when his mobility scooter was struck by a black Seat Leon as he crossed Leeds Road, near to Thornbury Avenue, Bradford, at around 12.45pm on Friday.

A 22-year-old man from Bradford, was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, fail to stop and failing to report a road traffic collision.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the third man was currently in custody and enquiries are continuing.

Two men, aged 34 and 21, also from Bradford, who were previously arrested in connection with the investigation have both been released on bail.
