A SERIAL burglar is behind bars awaiting a "very substantial" jail sentence after admitting a string of raids on public houses in the Bradford district.
Antony Cameron repeatedly struck again when on prison licence, Bradford Crown Court was told.
Cameron, 32, of Lymington Drive, Home Wood, Bradford, was now awaiting a visit in jail from the police so he could confess to more offences under the force's 'clean slate' provision, his solicitor advocate, Anne-Marie Hutton said.
He pleaded guilty to seven burglaries, between January 22 and February 6, when detectives were appealing for help to trace him because he was wanted on recall to prison.
Cameron yesterday appeared in court in custody and pleaded guilty to:
* Burgling a money bag containing £203 from the Lord Clyde Hotel, Thornton Road, Bradford
* Burgling a laptop computer, wallet, driving licence, credit card, USB hard drive and keys from the Woodlands Hotel, Mill Carr Hill Road, Oakenshaw, Bradford and stealing a Mazda car
* Burgling the Tequila Bar, Glydegate, Bradford and stealing £1,750 in cash and a lager bottle
* Burgling the Che Bar, Morley Street, Bradford, with intent to steal
* Burgling The Rosse, Bingley Road, Saltaire, and stealing bunches of keys and cash
* Burgling The Hop, Bingley Road, Saltaire, with intent to steal
* Burgling The Noble Comb, Salts Mill Road, Shipley, with intent to steal
Miss Hutton said: "He acknowledges that a very significant sentence will be imposed."
Judge Jonathan Rose adjourned the case until March 23 so that a police officer can take details of Cameron's further crimes.
"His victims will then know that somebody has been detained and will be dealt with for those offences," Judge Rose said.
In November, 2012, Cameron was jailed for four years for ransacking a house in daylight, escaping with computers, jewellery and a safe.
He targeted the property in Burley Road, Menston, only six months after being freed from a five-and-a-half year prison stretch for similar burglary offences.
Cameron's haul included personal papers, including a birth certificate and a will, wedding and engagement rings, computers, a watch and other jewellery.
He was at that time a 'fourth strike' housebreaker and his latest burglary spree includes breaking into living accommodation at the pubs.
