A MAJOR accident has closed Leeds Road, Bradford.
Paramedics are at the scene treating people on the road at the junction with Thornbury Street.
A Seat Leon car is involved.
Police have cordoned off the scene.
One witness said the car had been in a collision with a man on a mobility scooter who had suffered extensive injuries.
Mudassar Majid, owner of Shandaar Sweets and Ice Cream Bar in Leeds Road, said: “It’s shocking.
“There were police cars all around and they have cordoned off the road outside my shop.
“They treated the man on the road. It looked like a black car was involved."
