GUISELEY AFC want their fans to name charities they can support during next season.

The club hold various charity events, raffles and bucket collections around their Nethermoor Park ground during each campaign for good causes.

They also have charity Action for Children as their away shirt sponsor.

Now Guiseley want to hear from local or national charities, a local band, dance group or one-off fundraiser for the club to get behind, and raise funds for, from August.

Club fans can cast their votes for a range of charities at the penultimate home game of the current season against Stalybridge Celtic on April 6.

The charities will then be invited to fundraise at one of the club's home matches during next season.

There will be a maximum of ten fundraising event held throughout next season, with the results announced in the matchday programme on the final home league game of the season against Chorley on April 18.

The closing date for nominations is March 14.

Fans and members of the public should email community@guiseleyafc.co.uk, give the name of the charity or good cause and a brief explanation as to why it should be included in the shortlist.
