THERE is a large police presence in Bradford city centre this afternoon to make sure today's FA Cup fifth round match between Bradford City and Sunderland goes as smoothly as possible.
Officers, including police horse units, have been patrolling around the city's train and bus stations, as well as some city centre pubs such as the Queen, The Turls Green and the Ginger Goose, all of which were packed with fans in the build up to this afternoon's kick off.
Police video vans have also been deployed to key locations in the city.

Around 4,200 Sunderland fans attended the game, which City won 2-0, and many of the officers answered questions and offered advice to visiting fans.
The atmosphere in city centre pubs prior to the game appeared to have been lively but good-natured, and police are yet to release details of any major problems.
A large police operation was continuing in the city centre late this afternoon as fans with vastly differing emotions drifted away from the match.
