A TEENAGER has made his first appearance at Bradford Crown Court charged with causing the death of a Bradford man by dangerous driving.
Zachary Willemse, 19, of Gibb Lane, Mount Tabor, Halifax, faces a four day trial on August 17.
He is charged with causing the death of Kallum McCarter by driving a Mini Cooper dangerously on Priestley Hill, Queensbury, on April 21 last year and causing serious injury to Natasha Hoy and Matloob Hussain by dangerous driving.
Mr McCarter and Miss Hoy were passengers in a Mini Cooper driven by Willemse.
Mr McCarter, 20, of Raven Terrace, Fairweather Green, died at Leeds General Infirmary almost five weeks after the crash.
Willemse (pictured) will next appear in court for a case management hearing on May 1.
His bail was yesterday extended until that hearing.
