A baby was saved from a burning flat when it was passed through a window to a neighbour.
Neighbours also helped six people occupying the upstairs flats to safety by putting a ladder against the wall of the flats on Roundwood Glen on the Ravenscliffe estate in Bradford.
Firefighters from Idle, Bradford and Rawdon evacuated two adults in the ground floor flat. Nobody was injured in the fire, which happened at about 5.35pm yesterday.
