LEEDS is by far the busiest train station across Yorkshire and the Humber, new figures have confirmed.
According to statistics from the Office of Rail Regulation, based on ticket sales data, 27.7million passengers entered or exited the station between April 2013 and March this year.
Sheffield was the second highest with 8.6million passengers, with York in third place with 8.2million.
Bradford Interchange saw nearly 3 million entries or exits over the same time period, with just over 2 million passengers using the city's Forster Square station.
Stations at Shipley, Bingley, Keighley, Ilkley, and Skipton, all broke the 1 million passengers barrier.
