TWO-thirds of Bradford people feel at least six years younger than they are, with many adults feeling up to 15 years younger, research reveals.

The survey, which was commissioned by Betterlife from Lloyds Pharmacy, asked the people of Bradford about their views on ageing and revealed that nine out of ten people in the city feel comfortable in their own skin, with the over 85s feeling most at ease.

In contrast, the study showed 39 per cent of the city have felt restricted by their age, with mobility a key factor for the older peoplegenerations. It probed the public for their fears and hopes about ageing and found that 82 per cent feared losing their fitness and more than a third their independence.
