THE grand Saltaire Christmas lights switch-on takes place at historic Victoria Hall this Sunday.
And organiser Saltaire Village Society promises this year will be more dazzling than ever with a combination of the lights, music and stalls and entertainment.
The event is from 4pm to 6.15pm, with the light switch-on at 6pm. Music will be provided by the Wurlitzer organ and Bradford Voices will lead the carol singing.
Vanessa Pilny, chairman of Saltaire Village Society, said: “This free event will bring together the best that Saltaire has to offer and we hope people will come to celebrate the Christmas tree lights being switched on, have a taste of local groups and enjoy a fun evening at Victoria Hall.”
