A 79-YEAR-old remains in hospital today with head and chest injuries following a road traffic collision in Bradford last night
A green Honda Accord was travelling along Holme Wood Road towards the junction with Cutler Heights Lane, when it was in collision with a Mercedes Atego van at the junction. The incident took place at around 5.20pm yesterday.
The driver of the Honda, a 79-year-old man, was taken to hospital with head and chest injuries.
He remains in a stable condition today.
Sergeant Martin Greasley, of the Western Area Roads Policing Unit, said: "There would have been a significant amount of traffic and people around the Cutler Heights Lane area at the time this occurred.
"I would ask anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the movements of either vehicle prior to it, to contact PC 6128 Rookes at the Western Area Roads Policing Unit on 101."
