Volunteers have been busy putting up Burley-in-Wharfedale's Christmas lights ready for this weekend's lights switch on and Christmas market
LOCAL children’s entertainers the Silly Brothers will have the honour of lighting up Burley-in-Wharfedale for Christmas this weekend.
Thousands of visitors are expected to turn out to enjoy the afternoon’s entertainment in the village centre on Saturday, November 29, including a Christmas Market on Main Street with more than 30 stalls, plus fairground rides and slides in the park, steam traction rides courtesy of Jake Wright, a visit from Father Christmas with free lollies for all children and a Lego festival in Burley Methodist Church.
