Warning on care home's standards
A BRIGHOUSE nursing home has been given a formal warning by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) after failing to meet acceptable care standards.
Carr Green Nursing Home, on Carr Green Lane, Rastrick, was said to be failing to protect people against the risks of unsafe care and treatment by not effectively assessing and monitoring the quality of its services.
Care provider Flowertouch Limited was also reprimanded for failing to ensure that residents were protected against risks associated with unsafe or unsuitable premises.
