A REMEMBRANCE Day concert will be held at Bradford Cathedral as part of commemorations on Sunday.

The Cathedral Consort will be performing what is described as "an eclectic programme of music from across the centuries - inspired by themes of war, conflict, peace and resolution."

Saxophonist David Wilson will accompany the consort and the event, on Friday at 7.30pm, will also feature poetry inspired by the First World War, to recognise the centenary of the start of the conflict.

The consort will be directed by Cathedral Director of Music Alexander Woodrow and Mr Wilson will be donating his fee to the British Legion Poppy Appeal.
