A MUSEUM has offered an insight into life in wartime Bradford 100 years ago.
A Week At War saw Bradford Industrial Museum delve into its stored collections to offer visitors a glimpse of life on the home front during the First World War.
At the event on Saturday, Harbinder Singh gave a talk called Invisible Heroes, about the Indians who fought for British forces during the conflict, and how the war continues to have an impact to their descendants today.
There were 1914-style refreshments and visitors also got to look at a quilt of fabric poppies created during community project Bradford Remembers.
An exhibition at the museum, called Bradford's War: 1914-1918, explores life on the home front and looks at how World War One affected industry, women, leisure, attitudes to war and the treatment of the injured and disabled.
The exhibition runs at the museum until Wednesday, November 19.
