BOWLING College took part in a day of celebration for all the people who have found work or improved their chances of finding a job thanks to their training at the college.
More than 300 people were invited to the celebration day at the college on Manningham Lane, Bradford.
Steve Cross, the college’s principal and chief executive, presented certificates to people who improved their English language skills by gaining an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) qualification and those who have gained Access, Childcare and Functional Skills qualifications with their certificates.
Some of the people who have gained these qualifications are now on full-time employment or have gone on to do degrees.
Three of them are Stacey Cawdry, 30, and Samina Iqbal, 27, both of Bradford and Nahid Bashir, 37, of Pudsey,. All three are full of praise for the college which has provided childcare training that led to full-time jobs. Each of them completed a level one course and did a voluntary 12-month placement in a childcare setting.
